Principles of Biomedical Sciences (PBS)
Principles of Biomedical Sciences is a the first course of the Biomedical Sciences Pathway. Students learn about biology and medicine in order to apply their knowledge to solving the case of the death of a fictional character. Throughout the course, students learn important forensic skills, such as how to examine autopsy reports and interpret medical history. In addition, they will learn about medical treatments which may have extended the fictional patient's life.
